Guy with Both
Mesmer - 1 Each for PVE and 1 female PVP.. The PVE female is my main.
Warrior - 1 each
Ranger - Female.. Have had both but the male got deleted
Necro - 2 females. I hate the way to males look.
Monk - 1 female. Have had both at times.
Ele - 1 each.
Rit - 1 female
Sin - 1 male. Females look too anorexic.
Derv - 1 female
Pragaon - 1 female
Other than the instances where I specifically mentioned I didn't like the way one sex or another, I generally go for whichever I prefer. As has been often mentioned though, if I'm gonna be playing for hours and following a character around, I tend to prefer looking at the shapely females over the guys.
My male warrior was my first character, who my forum accounts are all named for. The ele male is cuz I like being able to make a character that had that "Dark Elf" look, and the make mesmer is the closest I could come to a character that actually looked like me.

Male with all female characters.
My characters are not me; I tend to think of them as seperate 'people' from myself - that sounds weird - what I mean is I don't personify myself in my characters.
I guess it's different for people who create their characters to be reflections of themselves, but Faith as a character has been playing around in various RPGs for me for seven years or so, and she's kinda taken on a personality of her own as have her sisters...

I find it a little odd that girls tend to play as all female characters.. and guys do the same. I'm sure there must be some deep psychological meaning behind that.
I'm male, and I have five male characters and four female.

I'm female with, at the moment, only female characters.
If I make a pvp dervish however, it HAS to be male everytime for the /dance. ^^
(Which is quite awkward for my boyfriend :P)

Because someone made a half assed point about people saying that they are male with female characters because they don't want to look at a dude should be unable to play those other games because they had male protagonists. Reading FTW!

I think it's because everyone wants to be pretty.
Except for me! If I can make an elderly man character, I will!
You should see my Oblivion dude. He's ooooooold'd'd.

There is, actually. Males make whatever looks good to them. In this case, females. Whereas females make avatars that closely resemble themselves. Again, females.

My Primary is a male necro with a mohawk, because I have a mohawk, and his face, looks like my face. (It's kind've creepy actually.) My Assassin is female, because I used to play Assassin in Diablo 2, and she was female. (And also my second favourite class, pre 1.10) My Ritualist is male, and named after my Characters brother. My paragon is female because the male paragon is as rushed and campy as the male dervish//assassin.

It was just a question out of curiosity. Nothing wrong with that, right?

True, but the number of people running around with half naked ele's or small blonde monks is annoying.
